CKE Restaurants Promotes Franchising Opportunities for Hispanics at USHCC Expo in Miami


CKE Restaurants is partnering with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) to present and exhibit at its Annual National Convention & Business Expo in Miami. According to a company statement, more than 3,000 should be in attendance at the 32nd-annual event, which promotes and honors Hispanic Entrepreneurship in America.

The expo is a networking venue that attracts Hispanic businesses and Fortune 1000 corporations, with an eye on the Hispanic market. Hispanic heritage month, a month-long celebration of the achievements and cultural uniqueness of Hispanics in America began September 15.

The workshop "Franchise Opportunities - A Pathway To Financial Independence & Vibrant Communities" will be sponsored by CKE, the parent of Carl's Jr. and Hardees. CKE says that the attendees will be able to learn and network at the event, spearheaded by Michael D'Arezzo, CKE Restaurants’ vice president of franchise sales, and Luis Farias, vice president of governmental affairs.

Caripinteria, Calif.-based sandwich chain operator and franchisor CKE Restaurants now boasts over 3,200 locations through its Carl's Jr. and Hardees fast food brands. Its Hispanic and networking effort at the USHCC is titled " Una Estrella a Tu Alcance," A Star Within Your Reach.

Other hospitality corporate sponsors include Caesars Entertainment, Hilton Worldwide and Starwood Hotels
