    Former Revlon Marketer Joins Petrus Brands as Marketing EVP


    Petrus Brands has hired Gloria Garrett as Marketing executive vice president (EVP). Atlanta-based Petrus is parent of the Shane's Rib Shack and Planet Smoothie concepts. Shane's Rib Shack has over 60 locations, mainly clustered in the Southeast, and also present in the MidAtlantic region. Planet Smoothie has more than 100 namesake locations, mostly in the Southern United States, Ohio, and the Northeast.

    As Marketing EVP, Garrett will be responsible for strategic marketing efforts for Petrus, which include brand management, field marketing and national integrated marketing. She is a foodservice veteran with stints at Olive Garden, The Coca-Cola Company, and Mars, Inc.

    A University of Pennsylvania Wharton School graduate, Garrett has extensive brand management, talent development and organizational development skills that were honed at foodservice conglomerates, and also companies like Microban International and Revlon.

    At Revlon, a one-billion dollar cosmetics and personal care products company, she was senior vice president (SVP) of Marketing, according to a Petrus Brands spokesperson.

    Garrett obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
