In its New Partnership, Acosta Sales & Marketing Enters Foodservice Channel


Acosta Sales & Marketing agreed to a foodservice channel partnership with Venture Sales Group (VSG), a U.S.-based sales agency focused on the Northeast. Acosta, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based sales and marketing agency venture company, will offer sales and marketing services to the foodservice industry through the new partnership and operational merger.

Acosta has 21,000 employees in the United States and Canada.

VSG, now a division of Acosta, will now tap into Acosta's marketing services, client relationships and industry reach. Acosta execs indicated they would build up on the strength, technology and entrepreneurial talents of the VSG team and thatvVSG would retain its entire management team in the transition.

“VSG’s strong industry track record, talented associates, and positive culture make it the perfect addition to the Acosta family," said Acosta President & CEO Robert Hill in a statement. "We are confident that by working together, we can build the leading food service agency platform in the U.S., anchored by the best associates in the industry.”

In the consumer packaged goods category, VSG will leverage its current relationships. It currently serves New England, Metro and Upstate New York, Northeast Pennsylvania. In the Midatlanti region, it has customers in the Baltimore/Washington consolidated metro area, including the Virginia and West Virginia markets.
