    About Kandessa Media

Known in the old days as simply “fast food joints,? today’s quick-service restaurants (QSRs) are the growth leaders within the restaurant industry. The segment now encompasses the fast food and fast casual categories. Today, nearly half of all restaurant meals are served in a QSR, according to the National Restaurant Association.

Since 2009, our news coverage of the industry has included trend, industry and best practice articles with a focused approach. Our stories are gleaned from interviews with executives at McDonald's, Corner Bakery, Smashburger, UFood Grill, Roark Capital (parent of Corner Bakery and pending buyer of Arby's), Uno Due Go, and more.

The content is valuable to a wide restaurant market, from owners of thousand-outlet chains to independent, family-run cafés. We offer on-the-go, streamlined, reliable information that offers a fresh perspective to benefit bakery cafes, pizza chain operators, fast-paced noodle shops and the QSR nooks in between.
