Kandessa Media Gets Social as it Launches Quick Serve Leader

BOSTON —With the debut of just days away, Kandessa Media expanded its strategy to include social media counterparts on LinkedIn and Twitter.

The new LinkedIn group, Quick Serve Leader for Restaurant Executives, which targets quick serve restaurant executives, and Twitter's Quicksrv_Leader will carry breaking news bytes complementing the digital magazine’s streamlined collection of trend and best practice articles for QSR's top management.

Kandessa Media became the sole QSR-exclusive trade news media company on May 16 when its main competitor, Food News Media Group, launched a full-service digital magazine.

"The real value we have in the industry across all stakeholder channels is our content and our ability to provide premium content for free," said Kandessa Media owner, Rick Zambrano. "Our social channels are outgrowths of our strategy, and will be monitored and developed so they are worthwhile and engaging." will bring a more focused line of content to executives, owners and operators of QSR chains and independent quick-service restaurants. The new online home for quick serve executives will capitalize on Kandessa Media's archive of focused, fresh, QSR news for Northeast restaurateurs delivered from an inside-the-industry perspective.

"While other publishers are relaying more and more on search engine and black hat strategies, our old fashioned word-of-mouth strategy and brand recognition will continue to provide momentum," said Zambrano.

Kandessa Media reported being closer to finding a B2B publisher for a joint venture to broaden the reach of its content. Zambrano is also searching for two partners, a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
