Wendy's to Close Atlanta Offices, Moves 220 Jobs to Ohio

The Wendy's Company said it would be closing the Atlanta Restaurant Support Center within the year. Due to its office consolidation to Dublin, Ohio, and the state of Ohio's incentives to move 170 jobs there, it will now offer compensation for relocation and retention to corporate and field team members moving to Dublin.

For those not able to relocate to Wendy's headquarters at One Dave Thomas Boulevard in Dublin from the Atlanta corporate offices, the company will offer severance packages and outplacement services.

In August, Wendy's announced moving 50 positions from Atlanta to Dublin and its investment of more than $11 million to renovate its Ohio office facilities.

With its incentives, Ohio picks up 220 transitioned positions ─ Wendy's executives indicated the incentives were a main factor in the Atlanta office closing. "This action will help us strengthen collaboration and teamwork as we grow our iconic brand,” said Wendy’s President and Chief Executive Emil Brolick.
